March 24, 2013 This one should really piss off the anti-gun/anti-Second Amendment folks at ABC News and Nightline. Glock recently introduced a new .45 ACP compact pistol model called the Glock 30S (G30S) at SHOT Show 2013. The new automatic pistol is designed using the Glock 36 (G36) model in the Glock 30SF (G30SF) line. Shorter/lighter user-display image for convenient and smart concealed carry (CCW). The G30S pistol is designed specifically for law enforcement departments at the request of the chapter, but like all Glock automatic pistols, it is available to the public. The Glock 30S pistol is naturally functional and should be successful, while offering the same level of reliability, accuracy, and durability as the rest of the Glock pistol line—and there's no reason to believe it doesn't. Glock pistols have built their reputation on all three features and are also the most combat ready of all polymer pistols/rifles. The standard magazine capacity is 10 rounds, but the G30S accepts 13 Glock 21 (G21) / Glock 21SF (G21SF) rounds. And as anyone who owns a Glock pistol can tell you, magazine extensions are available for all Glock pistol magazines. Of course, including G21 eggs. Now, you can add a +2 magazine extension (2 rounds) or even a KRISS +17 magazine extension (17 rounds), giving you a maximum capacity of 30 + 1 rounds (for a total of 31 rounds) in your pistol. to give Glock 30S, not to mention the unique self-loading mags. Not bad for a .45ACP pistol (or any pistol, for that matter)! That's enough to make the anti-gun bias on Nightline (ABC News) a real connection. As mentioned at the top of this article, ABC Nightline recently aired an anti-Glock/anti-gun/anti-2nd amendment/anti-misinformation campaign masquerading as a news story. For the record, the Nightline episode that tried to negatively attack Glock Inc actually backfired on us. It made us want to go out and buy more Glock pistols. The fact is, Glock pistols are great products that perform exactly as advertised and have saved many lives, often without ever having to pull the trigger. I experienced this myself in Miami, where I had to draw/draw my Glock 19 (G19) several times to fight others. Fortunately, I never had to shoot the attacker or attackers, thank God.
